[Hiring] Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner @Summit Psychiatric Servic

Role Description

We are hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) with psychiatric experience and an active Florida license to join our expanding team. This remote role includes:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychotropic medication management and monitor patient progress
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
• Collaborate with supervising psychiatrist and multidisciplinary team
• Attend virtual case reviews and team meetings
• Uphold best practices in virtual psychiatric care

Qualifications

• Active PMHNP or PA-C license in Florida (Michigan license a plus)
• 1–2+ years of psychiatric experience (outpatient, inpatient, or telehealth)
• Strong documentation, assessment, and communication skills
• DEA license in good standing (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable working independently with collaborative support
• Tech-savvy and confident using virtual care platforms

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in psychiatric care (preferred)
• Familiarity with crisis management and higher-acuity populations (preferred)
• ANCC or NCCPA board certification (preferred)
• Proficient in DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and treatment protocols (preferred)
• Experience with telepsychiatry platforms (preferred)
