Role Description

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

• Provide services via the Televero Telehealth platform, both live and offline
• Maintain a high quality of care consistent with the practice’s goals
• Assist with developing our behavioral health practice, including protocol development, training, and engaging in clinical behavioral health discussions with prospective clients
• Prescribe medications and close out medication tickets in a timely manner
• Take notes and assign billing codes within the EMR, including no-shows
• Closeout documentation within twenty-four hours of the patient encounter
• Review and interpret any patient assessments used in the practice
• Attend monthly peer, supervisory, and educational meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related field
• Completion of CCNE-accredited Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specialization
• Active PMHNP License in Texas
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Two or more years of Telehealth experience
• Two or more years of Outpatient experience
• Two or more years of Prescribing experience
• Experience diagnosing and treating Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
