[Hiring] Provider Enablement - Pre Authorization Specialist @Pyramid Consulting

Role Description

Immediate need for a talented Provider Enablement- Pre Authorization Specialist. This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in US (Remote).

• Manage pre-authorization requests and ensure compliance with medical guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate timely patient care.
• Utilize back office medical platforms and authorization systems effectively.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of authorization processes.
• Provide clerical and administrative support as needed.
• Navigate various computer systems and applications, including Outlook, TEAMS, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working with back office medical platforms and/or authorization systems.
• 1+ year of experience within the Healthcare Industry, including a Hospital, Physician's Office, or Medical Clinical setting.
• 1+ year of experience with medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT codes, Medicare and/or Medicaid services.
• High School diploma or equivalent (document required).
• Professional experience in a Clerical or Administrative support role.
• Proven ability to quickly learn various computer systems or applications.
• Strong internet connection with a minimum of 30 Mbps download and upload speed (screenshot required).
