Role Description
The Mental Health Practice Coordinator will report directly to the Practice Manager, providing direct administrative and project support for our growing 24/7 telemedicine practices. Primary responsibilities will include:

Coordinating physician schedules, patient rescheduling, referral, and prior authorization support.

Assisting in implementation and roll out of new product offerings.

Ensuring that staff physicians feel supported in their day-to-day role in virtual healthcare.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitors providersβ schedules to ensure efficient patient scheduling and timely patient flow.

Schedules/Reschedules Physician clinics as needed.

Aids in referral management and billing processes; acts as a resource for clinicians and Care Team staff.

Obtains referrals as instructed by providers; completes prior authorizations as needed.

Provides administrative and technical support to physicians for CME, financial reimbursement, licensing, and other tasks as assigned.

Answers provider requests and escalates appropriately to ensure timely information is provided.

Supports new physician onboarding by monitoring credentialing and training progress.

Partners with the credentialing team to manage physician license approvals, renewals, and expirations.

Provides ongoing feedback to manager regarding training needs, physician performance, and process improvement.

Assists operations leadership and medical director with department staff meeting agendas, attendance, minutes, and follow-up items.

Participates in performance improvement projects and may perform other similar and related duties as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

2-4 years' experience in related industry.

2-4 years of healthcare experience required, preferably in a mental health department.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Customer service oriented.

Previous experience directly supporting physicians.
Benefits

Base salary range: $20 - $25/hourly.

Eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).

Accrue 5.84 hours of PTO for each bi-weekly pay period during the first year.
