Role Description

This is a remote position and a sedentary job that requires sitting in front of the computer to perform work.

• Physician medical reviewers evaluate clinical service requests based on company guidelines to make medical necessity determinations.

Qualifications

• Board Certified (ABMS) M.D. or D.O.
• Unrestricted and active license to practice medicine.
• 5 years clinical experience, including inpatient experience.
• Any combination of education/experience that would provide an equivalent background.
• Must understand managed care.
• Demonstrate PC proficiency, as file review will be done via computer in most cases.

Benefits

• 100% Remote work.
• Contract position with potential for hire.
• 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
• Pay rate: $105.00/hr. on W2.
• Includes at least 2 weekends per month.
