[Hiring] Physician - Oscar Primary Care @Oscar Health

Role Description

We are hiring a Physician to join our Virtual Primary Care team at Oscar Medical Group. You will deliver quality primary and urgent care to Oscar members via phone, video, and asynchronous messaging. This role will also serve as a supervising physician to other Advanced Practice Providers.

• This is a full-time, Monday - Friday, 40 hour per week employed role.
• Our Virtual Clinic is open 7am - 11 pm EST. You will work at least one evening shift per week. There are no required current weekend requirements.
• You will report into the Medical Director, Oscar Primary Care.
• This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, or Washington D.C.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• 3+ years experience in an in-person outpatient primary care office (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Med/Peds).
• Bonus points for 2+ years of Telemedicine experience.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• Licensed in other Oscar states.

Requirements

• Must hold an active medical license in a state that participates in the IMLCC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).
• Must meet one of the following state combinations:
  • Multiple active licenses in FL, GA, or TX.
  • One active license in FL, GA, or TX plus one active license in AZ or OK.
  • Active IMLCC participation with the ability to quickly toggle on additional member states.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Benefits

• Base pay for this role is: $225,000 - $246,750 per year.
• Eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year, and annual performance bonuses.
