Role Description

The person in the physician role will be responsible for meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in a children's hospital setting and provide them with healthcare services that meet state and national standards for caregiving.

• Responsible for prescribing patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery from diagnosed health issues, prevent future health issues and/or promote a healthier life.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible/Certified by the American Board of Radiology or AOBR required
• Eligible for licensure in Minnesota required
• Completion of a pediatric radiology fellowship

Requirements

• Clinical competency and expertise in caring for hospitalized children.
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications.
• In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Respect for patient's confidentiality.
