[Hiring] Physician Assistant @Psych-Alliance

Role Description

We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join a behavioral health treatment program, providing psychiatric care and addiction treatment for patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. This primarily remote opportunity involves working closely with treatment teams to support patient care.

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing follow-up care within the PA’s scope of practice and applicable physician collaboration or supervision requirements.
• Complete admission histories and physicals and addiction-focused medical visits, as appropriate to licensure, experience, and assignment.
• Support patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and facility staff to coordinate care and treatment planning.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Manage assigned facility relationships and respond promptly to clinical needs and admission deadlines.

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant certification (PA-C).
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience, including addiction treatment experience.
• Active PA licenses in Oklahoma and California; additional licensure in Idaho and/or Texas strongly preferred.
• Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients with mental health and substance use disorders.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage clinical responsibilities independently while collaborating closely with physicians and treatment teams.
• Experience in residential treatment, detox, PHP, or IOP settings is preferred.

Requirements

• Active PA licenses in Oklahoma and California required; additional licensure in Idaho and/or Texas strongly preferred.
