Role Description

Upon referral provides professional Physical Therapy services including evaluations, planning individual patient care programs, and treatments. Demonstrates/uses current knowledge of principles and practices of Physical Therapy. Participates in job related departmental functions as an integral member of the patient care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Physical Therapy and a minimum of one year experience as a physical therapist in a physical disabilities setting, preferably in acute care or acute rehab; OR
• Completion of six to nine months internship in an acute care or acute rehab.
• Knowledge of physical therapy theory, treatment, and evaluation in areas of neurology is recommended, upon hire.
• Masters in Physical Therapy and a minimum of one year experience as a physical therapist in a physical disabilities setting, preferably in acute care or acute rehab; OR
• Completion of six to nine months internship in an acute care or acute rehab.
• Knowledge of physical therapy theory, treatment, and evaluation in areas of neurology is recommended, upon hire.
• Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy and a minimum of one year experience as a physical therapist in a physical disabilities setting, preferably in acute care or acute rehab; OR
• Completion of six to nine months internship in an acute care or acute rehab.
• Knowledge of physical therapy theory, treatment, and evaluation in areas of neurology is recommended, upon hire.
• Physical Therapist: CA, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
