Role Description

Our client is seeking a Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician to work in a Centralized Business Office. The primary responsibilities include handling prior authorization processes professionally and efficiently.

• Manage prior authorization requests and documentation.
• Case load of 30 prior authorization minimum a day.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurers to ensure approval of necessary treatments.
• Provide support and guidance to patients regarding medication coverage.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience with prior authorizations.
• Active state license or national certification.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
