Role Description

The role involves entering and processing new and refill prescriptions in the pharmacy processing system accurately and efficiently.

• Verify patient information and eligibility, and complete a program processing.
• Prioritize prescriptions and workload based on patient need, urgency, and established deadlines.

Communication & Medication Access:

• Coordinate with pharmacists, pharmacy teams, Hub programs, patients, and providers to resolve prescription-related needs and support timely access to medications.
• Review patient and provider communications and provide clear, timely workflow updates.

Qualifications

• Registered with State board of Florida Pharmacy
• Certified Pharmacy Tech not required but a plus
• Ability to sit and use computer screens for extended periods of time
• High-volume work environment requiring sustained attention to detail and multitasking
• Equipment will be provided; talent must have their own verifiable high-speed internet
• Ability to maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation
• Knowledge of prescriptions, dosing, and dosage
• Experience with data entry and third-party claims processing
• High school Diploma Required
