Role Description
M Chest Pharmacy in Texas is seeking a TSBP registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Customer Service Technician! The Customer Service Technician handles billing functions and exceptions including:

Resolving insurance rejections

Managing high-cost Medicare A Medications
-
Collaborating with insurance providers, nursing center staff, and prescriber's office

Providing support and feedback to pharmacy personnel regarding billing errors

Contributing to a team environment focused on operational efficiency and excellent customer service
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 8-hour shift with a rotating Saturday schedule (every other week)
Specifically, you will be responsible for:

Working to reduce nursing facility medication spend through strategic billing practices

Entering prescription orders accurately and efficiently

Processing third-party adjudications and resolving claims rejections

Managing hospice-related claims with attention to detail and compliance
-
Handling third-party prior authorization requests

Processing new patient admissions, including intake of face sheets and entry of payor source information
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Pharmacy Technician Certification registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, in "active" status and in Good Standing
Requirements

Computer skills, including fundamental knowledge of Windows based software programs, including but not limited to word processing and spreadsheet applications specifically MS Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Organization skills including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

Ability to effectively and harmoniously interact with facility, group, division and company management and other employees at all levels; promotes teamwork and demonstrates strong professionalism

Ability to communicate, perform and comprehend variables within the pharmacy operation

Ability to provide excellent customer service to all external and internal customers

Keeps abreast of current state, federal and company policies, procedures and regulations
