Role Description
The Pharmacy Liaison Coordinator primarily serves as a liaison between the business and Specialty Pharmacy stakeholder partners to ensure hub patients sent to Specialty Pharmacies successfully access much needed therapy. This role plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless transition throughout the patient journey as the hub completes reimbursement services and transfers the patient to a Specialty Pharmacy to complete their journey. This position serves as a critical bridge in ensuring patients get access to therapy in a fast, efficient, and streamlined manner.
Responsibilities

Handle customer escalated cases through investigation and case review.

Responsible for maintaining an issues log that clearly states all encountered issues and steps to resolve the issue.

Mediate effective resolution for complex payer/pharmacy issues toward a positive outcome to de-escalate.

Answer requests from doctors and/or patients checking on the status of the triage.

Perform other activities related to internal initiatives and/or the manufacturer’s program as assigned.

Support manufacturer field team members as required on case updates.

Work internally with team members regarding patients’ cases.

Ability to identify, document, and submit Adverse Events during customer contact or via received documentation.

Serve as Single Point of Contact for Cardinal Health Sonexus™ Access and Patient Support related inquiries when communicating with specific and designated Specialty Pharmacies.

Responsible for handling escalated cases and reporting to field-based representatives as needed.

Responsible for running all reports relative to Cardinal Health Sonexus™ Access and Patient Support and program dispenses, addressing any issues or errors discovered.

Responsible for ensuring accounts are updated and accurate, submitting IT escalations if required.

Support the hub team with work overflow and reimbursement support when necessary.
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred.

3-6 years of experience, preferred.

Experience and knowledge in the healthcare management industry including Prior Authorizations, Appeals, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Commercial plans is preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Excel.

Excellent observation skills to easily identify trends and problems while providing solutions.

Superior written & verbal communication skills.

Experience in phone-based customer service preferred.

Training And Work Schedules
Your new hire training will take place 8:00am-5:00pm CST, mandatory attendance is required. This position is full-time (40 hours/week). Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM CST.
