As a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist, a caregiver in this role will support medication-related Epic workflows for Cleveland Clinic London Hospital as part of a collaborative Pharmacy Informatics team based in Ohio and Florida. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting discovery and quality assurance for medication build requests.
• Partnering with analysts on Willow Inpatient and Willow Ambulatory applications.
• Developing implementation plans.
• Ensuring medication records support safe and effective ordering within Epic.
• Maintaining accurate medication records to enhance patient safety.

This role will support Cleveland Clinic London while working remotely from Ohio or Florida. A caregiver in this position will work fully remote and must reside in Ohio or Florida. Caregivers will work Saturday and Sunday back-to-back during their assigned eighth weekend and may be required to work on-site at a Cleveland Clinic location.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Coordinate process design, redesign, system build, system testing, and implementation of medication information technologies with interfaces and related IT projects.
• Facilitate the development of medication documentation and ordering systems with other disciplines.
• Ensure ongoing development of automated decision support tools related to the safe and effective use of medications.
• Assist users to modify processes for implementation and efficient use of the clinical information system.
• Identify computer capabilities and needs of clinical departments.
• Integrate the design of the medication use documentation systems across disciplines.
• Maintain issue logs of requests and follow through with assigned items to completion.
• Communicate timely and accurately to the appropriate committees, project team members, and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Degree with current state licensure.
• Two years working in an acute care setting as a Pharmacist and/or Pharmacy Informatics Specialist OR completion of a residency in Pharmacy Informatics.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Pharmacy and/or a residency or fellowship training.
• Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current State within 90 days of hire.
• Experience building in Epic.
• PGY2 in informatics.
