The Patient Access Liaison (PAL) β Active plays a vital role in ensuring patients can continue therapy without disruption. By closely monitoring insurance eligibility and authorization status, this role helps remove barriers to care before they impact treatment.
In this role, your work will:

Help patients stay on therapy through proactive eligibility and coverage monitoring

Provide clarity and reassurance during insurance or benefit changes

Support care teams by ensuring downstream partners have accurate, timely information
What Youβll Do:

Monitor monthly insurance eligibility and authorization status for assigned active patients

Identify changes in coverage and proactively coordinate with patients, sales teams, physicians, and reimbursement partners to resolve barriers

Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and referral partners, providing updates on coverage, authorizations, and next steps

Communicate insurance changes to Reimbursement Specialists to initiate new benefits verification or prior authorizations as needed

Work closely with data entry, reimbursement, nurse coordination, and pharmacy operations teams to keep cases moving forward

Document all patient, provider, and field communications accurately in designated systems

Track referral progress, workload metrics, and case status to ensure timely follow-through

Support technology-enabled communication and collaborate across teams to meet service goals
Qualifications

1β3 years of experience supporting patient referrals, prescription services, or reimbursement in infusion or specialty therapies

Experience providing high-quality customer service to patients and healthcare providers

Familiarity with electronic health records or pharmacy patient management systems

Working knowledge of medical or pharmacy terminology

Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

A high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelorβs degree preferred)

Willingness to travel up to 5% as needed for meetings or training
Requirements
