[Hiring] Patient Abstractor @City of Hope

Role Description

The New Patient Abstractor abstracts and summarizes new patient charts, serves as a point of contact for moderately complex charts, and works within pre-defined methods, tactics, and procedures to impact department goals.

• Accurate completion of new patient abstracts prior to the initial appointment.
• Serve as a resource with in-depth and broad knowledge on patient charts.
• Partner with Intake leadership to understand the department and corporate strategy and operating objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the medical field, preferably oncology.

Requirements

• Must be available/flexible between 7:30AM-4:30PM MST (AZ time).
• Oncology experience highly preferred!
