[Hiring] Part-Time PHP Therapist @UHS

Role Description

The IOP Therapist at Midtown Center Ft. Worth is an active member of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, interaction, and role-modeling to patients. This is a generic position (working with adults). Other duties include:

• Organizing patient activities
• Filing
• Charting
• Calculating point sheets and levels
• Completing schedules

All program therapists work under the direction of the Director - Outpatient Services. This is a remote position.

The IOP Program Therapist performs behavioral health care clinical functions to include:

• Assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs
• Ongoing assessment
• Treatment planning
• Behavioral management
• Enhancement of coping skills
• Family therapy
• Discharge planning

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field
• Minimum of one year of experience in a psychiatric health care facility
• Direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Must possess a state license as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC Intern, LPC, LMFT-A or LMFT
• Staff are encouraged to pursue LCSW licensure
• CPR Certification and CPI training must be completed prior to providing direct patient care services
• May be required to work flexible hours and overtime

Requirements

• Part-Time Regular Schedule (Fully Remote)
• Evening IOP (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
• Must be available to attend the Full hospital and departmental orientations: Week 1: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
