Role Description

The Oncology Nurse Clinician at CareChart is a skilled oncology nurse providing expert symptom management, clinical guidance, and emotional support to cancer patients and caregivers beyond regular business hours. Using COSTaRS and various other evidence-based tools, the Oncology Nurse Clinician conducts remote assessments, determines the appropriate level of care, and reports effectively to the patient’s oncology team in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• CNO licensed RN (Ontario)
• Canadian resident
• Oncology certification (CNA)
• More than 5 years’ experience in oncology nurse care

Requirements

• Exhibits strong ability to communicate and assess patients in a solely virtual environment
• Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills
• Manages with ease electronic documentation systems and electronic medical records platforms
• Shows ability to work independently and as a member of a virtual nursing team
