Role Description

A leading UK food manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Occupational Health Clinical Lead to shape and drive its Occupational Health strategy across a growing, multi-site operation. This role will suit someone who has experience as an Occupational Health Manager, Senior Occupational Health Nurse, Occupational Health Lead, or Occupational Health & Wellbeing Manager.

• This is a high-impact opportunity to take ownership of the internal Occupational Health service.
• Providing expert clinical leadership, governance, and strategic direction while partnering closely with HR, HSE, and Operations.
• Lead and develop the in-house Occupational Health team.
• Oversee complex case management.
• Strengthen clinical governance and drive continuous improvement across UK sites.
• Conduct workplace assessments and health surveillance.
• Manage rehabilitation, fitness-to-work, and workplace adjustments.
• Turn clinical expertise into practical solutions that support both people and business performance.
• Predominantly home-based, with national travel to manufacturing sites.
• Offers genuine visibility and influence at senior level.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Health Specialist Nurse.
• Significant senior-level experience.
• Strong clinical governance expertise.
• Proven leadership capability.
• Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, or a multi-site environment is highly advantageous.
• SEQOHS and OPAS G2 experience is a plus.
