Role Description
The APRN/PA – Virtual Health functions at a medical level of care to serve patients with acute, chronic, or preventive health needs via Virtual Primary Care (VPC) and Neighborhood Care Site (NCS) programs. Clinical responsibilities include:

Assessment, diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment delivered exclusively through virtual health modalities.

Participation as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide safe, high-quality, cost-effective, and evidence-based care.

Demonstration of professionalism and upholding the mission, vision, and values of Advocate Health.

Provision of care within their scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensure, regulations, and institutional policy.
Qualifications

Active RN license and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP or PA license in Illinois and Wisconsin, or ability to obtain prior to start.

Active national board certification appropriate to clinical practice and populations served.

Active DEA registration prior to hire.

If Illinois practice: active Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire.

Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice prior to or within 6 months of hire.

Master’s Degree in Nursing (or equivalent graduate degree for Physician Assistants).

No experience required.

Excellent communication skills and ability to establish positive relationships with patients, clinical teammates, and operational partners.

Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced virtual setting.
