At Change Grow Live, our clinical teams bring together evidence-based practice, professional expertise and compassion. We work alongside people affected by drug and alcohol use, helping them access treatment that reflects their needs, strengths and goals.

We’re looking for an experienced Independent Non-Medical Prescriber to join our Nottinghamshire service, supporting people across Nottinghamshire. This is an opportunity to use your clinical expertise where it can have a lasting impact—working within a multidisciplinary team that puts people at the heart of every decision.

This is more than prescribing medication. It’s about seeing the whole person, understanding what matters to them and creating treatment plans that support their health, safety and recovery.

• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop personalised treatment plans.
• Prescribe, review and optimise medication in line with national guidance and evidence-based practice.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver safe, coordinated care.
• Support people experiencing complex physical health, mental health and substance use needs.
• Promote harm reduction, health improvement and recovery-focused interventions.
• Provide clinical advice and guidance to colleagues and partner organisations.
• Contribute to clinical governance, service development and quality improvement.
• Help create a safe and inclusive environment where people feel respected, heard and involved.

Qualifications

• Current NMC or GPhC registration.
• An Independent Non-Medical Prescriber qualification.
• Recent experience within drug and alcohol treatment services.
• Strong knowledge of prescribing practice, harm reduction and recovery-focused care.
• Confidence assessing clinical need and managing complex presentations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A commitment to safe, evidence-based and person-centred practice.

Requirements

• Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
• 16 Months Fixed Term Contract.
