Role Description

Baptist Medical Center is hiring for a New Patient Coordinator for the Behavioral Health Department located at Baptist Medical Center. This is a Full Time Day shift opportunity working an 8:00am-5:00pm schedule in Jacksonville, FL.

The New Patient Coordinator will assist the Behavioral Health Department by:

• Accurately registering new patients
• Performing other clerical duties
• Utilizing intermediate level knowledge of insurance and medical records
• Operating a multi-line telephone system
• Providing excellent customer service skills
• Matching patient care needs with available services
• Exercising good judgment in triaging patients with acute needs over the phone

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Medical Experience
• 1-2 years Customer Service Experience
• 1-2 years Insurance Experience
• High School Diploma
