[Hiring] Neurodevelopment Clinical Lead @Healios

Role Description

As a Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our Neurodevelopmental team to blend clinical expertise with leadership and governance. Your primary responsibility will be to shape the clinical direction, ensure quality, and foster innovation to achieve exceptional outcomes for individuals seeking a neurodevelopmental assessment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disabilities Nurse, or Psychologist.
• Ability to ensure high-quality client care and uphold clinical standards across the organisation.
• Experience of providing supervision and support to assistant psychologists.

Requirements

• Management responsibility for Assistant Psychologists.
• Providing supervision and oversight to ensure safe, effective, evidence-based practice.
• Working collaboratively with Senior Clinicians to support coordinated clinical delivery.
• Demonstrate deep clinical operational expertise in pathway redesign.
• Carry out consultations with very complex cases as and when required.
• Provide specialist clinical support from Clinical Leads and establish a dedicated governance structure for holistic oversight.
• Drive clinical governance at a service-wide level, including conducting audits and supporting compliance.
• Commitment to adhering to local and national policies, including NICE guidelines.
• Demonstrate skills in consultation and collaboration with others across functions.
• Represent the organisation at meetings with prospective NHS and private sector partners.
• Ability to work autonomously with clear timelines and accountability.
• Direct engagement with clinicians to ensure client-centric practices aligned with policies and guidelines.
• Oversee and/or be directly involved with complex cases, assess clinical outcomes, and continually improve service quality and client experience.
• Capacity to contribute to educating the external market about Healios’ services.
• Ability to support other people managers to coach their team members to drive performance.
