[Hiring] Mental Wellbeing Practitioner @Bupa

Role Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to really make a difference to the wellbeing of a diverse range of clients and at the same time, an opportunity where you can continue in your own clinical career development.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

• Conducting remote (telephone or video) mental health assessments.
• Making evidence-based treatment recommendations for Bupa clients, customers, and members, in line with NICE guidelines and relevant policies and procedures.
• Working independently under clinical supervision from qualified professionals including Clinical Psychologists and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists.
• Liaising daily with internal services and external organisations as part of a clinical team.
• Receiving ongoing clinical guidance from qualified mental health professionals, including regular clinical supervision.
• Ensuring work is within clinical competencies.

Qualifications

• Completed a BPS accredited degree in Psychology or health-related sciences.
• Holds an MSc in Psychology, associated therapies, or health-related sciences, or has experience in a healthcare assessment role.
• Strong professional and personal drive.
• Empathic, compassionate, and responsive.
• Trauma-informed approach.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
• Ability to respond rapidly and decisively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• IT proficient.
• Proven experience of customer service.
• Ability to work within level of competence and recognize when to seek supervision.
