[Hiring] Medication Therapy Management Pharmacy Technician @Cigna Healthcare

Role Description

The Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Pharmacy Technician at PipelineRx (now a part of Evernorth Health Services) supports Remote Pharmacy Services by collecting and documenting accurate patient medication histories, assisting pharmacists, and performing related clinical and administrative tasks.

Shift: Monday–Friday, between 9a–8p EST

Position Summary:

• Contact patients and providers to address gaps in care, with phone outreach as the primary responsibility.
• This role could be dedicated to an assigned client and requires thorough documentation of all interactions and outcomes in our call tracking system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather patient encounter details, including allergies, medication history, medical conditions, and other relevant information.
• Contact patients to reconcile medication lists and collect information needed to support care.
• Coordinate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to support medication management services.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician National certification is required.
• Experience with Medication Therapy Management is preferred.
• Experience with prescription data entry is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively by email and phone.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional communication style.
• Experience with Google G-Suite is preferred.

Requirements

• If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
• This role is anticipated to offer an hourly rate of 18 - 27 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
• This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
