Role Description

The Medical Support team is at the heart of Eucalyptus and our brands. The team thrives on making every patient feel uniquely cared for and ensuring our Prescribers and fellow team members can rely on us. Operating a range of 8-hour night shifts between the hours of 1900hrs to 0700hrs.

• Triaging asynchronous medical enquiries efficiently to ensure excellent patient safety and overnight care is provided;
• Providing outstanding medical advice to patients at scale (by email and phone), which creates lasting impressions because of its depth and personalisation;
• Responding to medical incidents within agreed SLAs;
• Assisting in the creation of medical knowledge centres that empower our Patient & Medical Support teams to provide deeper and more personalised patient experiences;
• Proactively engaging with patients throughout their treatment journey;
• Working closely with a team of Medical Support Specialists to assist in building processes and systems that get better over time;
• Being a critical point of contact for our Eucalyptus prescribers, Health Coaches and other teams.

Qualifications

• A registered healthcare professional with 2+ years post-registration experience in any healthcare setting, such as a:
• Pharmacist;
• Nurse;
• Passion for online and primary care - demonstrated experience in primary care conditions and online experience is a big plus;
• Tech-savvy - confident in navigating digital applications for clinical practice;
• Experienced decision maker - can make timely and accurate referral decisions based on clinical expertise;
• Trust - patients trust you implicitly because of your experience, confidence, and manner;
• Clear communicator - communicates with patients, health professionals, and team members clearly and concisely;
• Heart - patients love their interactions with you, feel safe and supported in your care, and keep coming back!

Requirements

• Experience of supporting or treating patients via online, text-based asynchronous conversations;
• Experience of supporting or treating patients with modern weight loss treatments.
