Role Description

Join a collaborative and supportive Credentialing team within a large multi-specialty medical group.

• Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week, Days
• Remote
• Provider-Facing Role Supporting Physicians and Advanced Practice Professionals
• Coordinates Provider Onboarding, Credentialing, Recredentialing, and Professional Liability Activities
• Assists Providers Through Credentialing and Malpractice Application Processes
• Partners with Medical Staff Offices, Insurance Carriers, and Internal Stakeholders to Support Provider Readiness
• Ideal for Candidates Who Enjoy Relationship Building, Problem Solving, and Managing Multiple Priorities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of experience
• Less than 2 years of supervisor experience
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in Business
• 5-10 years of experience
• 2-5 years of supervisor experience
• Licenses & Certifications: CMSC

Requirements

• Coordinates and administers the credentialing and privileging process of medical staff members and allied health providers.
• Prepares credentialing documents and reviews applications to ensure privileges requested meet requirements.
• Administers and coordinates contract management, scheduling and billing programs.
• Processes medical staff status changes.
• Provides medical staff education and facilitates meetings with management as it relates to the medical staff and credentialing process.
