Role Description

As a Medical Science Liaison with bioMérieux, you will play an important role in fostering relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in your designated geographical area. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with leading experts in the field, gather insights, and provide scientific information to support our mission of advancing public health. You will also contribute to the development of strategic medical initiatives and act as a bridge between bioMérieux and the medical community. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for scientific communication and a desire to make an impact in the healthcare space.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in life sciences, healthcare or clinical sciences required.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical, laboratory, or healthcare fields.
• Relevant clinical experience may include patient-focused practice in areas such as infectious disease, critical care, emergency medicine, pharmacy, or other hospital/health-system settings.
• Relevant clinical laboratory experience includes roles involving clinical microbiology, diagnostic testing, laboratory medicine, or oversight/management of a hospital clinical laboratory.
• Advanced degree strongly preferred: PhD, PharmD, NP, PA, MS/MLS/DCLS, MD/DO, or similar relevant advanced degree.
• MSL/field medical affairs experience preferred, particularly experience involving HCP/KOL engagement, scientific/medical education, insights gathering, and field-based medical strategy.
• Clinical microbiology board certification or similar relevant clinical laboratory credential is preferred for candidates whose background is primarily in clinical laboratory medicine.
• Experience in infectious disease diagnostics, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, immunoassay, or related diagnostic areas is preferred.
