Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Medical Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments for patients with healthcare providers, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately recorded and communicated. This is a part-time, remote position, with the potential for full-time hours as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments for patients with healthcare providers in a timely and efficient manner
• Communicate with patients to gather necessary information and verify insurance coverage
• Accurately enter patient information and appointment details into our scheduling system
• Follow up with patients to confirm appointments and provide any necessary instructions or information
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and office staff to coordinate schedules and ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
• Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and software updates
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
• Previous experience in a medical office or scheduling role preferred
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with scheduling software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Comfortable working remotely and managing own schedule
• Must have a reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
