[Hiring] Medical Scheduler @Downtown Tacoma

Role Description

• Handle high call volumes and communicate professionally with patients, provider offices, and insurance companies.
• Schedule and pre-register outpatient procedures.
• Obtain and verify insurance, demographic, and clinical information.
• Follow compliance and authorization requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of medical office experience.
• Knowledge of radiology procedures, insurance, scheduling, and medical terminology.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to navigate between multiple software systems, experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with remote work.

Requirements

• 100% remote (Applicants must reside in AL, AZ, GA, ID, NC, TX, UT, or WA. If you do not live in one of these states, we cannot consider you for hire.)
• Pay Range: $20.23 - $24.07/hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5:30PM Pacific Time
