[Hiring] Medical Record Custodian @Regis Remote Office

Role Description

The Medical Record Custodian is responsible for managing, processing, and securely handling patient medical records while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role supports communication with doctors, attorneys, patients, and referring offices while maintaining proper documentation and record management processes.

• Faxing and emailing reports to doctors and attorneys; interacting with all referring offices to fulfill their needs.
• Respond to subpoena requests in a timely manner.
• Process medical records invoices in a timely manner.
• Verify patient details before sending information to billing.
• Verify patient charts have been scanned and ensure all data entry is correct.
• Identify the correct physician based on the patient’s case or referral.
• Use secure and approved methods for sharing medical images in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Answer phones and emails in a timely manner.
• Upload images and reports using Radsource.
• Upload reports to patients’ charts on ADS.

Qualifications

• English skills required with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential patient information with a high level of accuracy and discretion.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
