Role Description

Under the direction of Assistant Program Manager, Medical Receptionist performs administrative duties including:

• Reception duties
• Scheduling appointments
• Other clerical tasks as assigned

Medical Assistant Receptionist covers back office clinical duties. Position involves:

• Saturday and Sunday Coverage
• Holiday rotation

Remote position. Must be a Hawaii Tax Resident.

Location: MUST RESIDE in Hawaii, 100% Remote.

This is a part-time position, less than 20 hours per week. Saturday & Sunday 8am-4pm, with extended hours as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Medical assisting/office experience
• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree
• Three (3) years medical assisting/office experience
• One (1) year working with mental health/substance use disorder clients
• Experience working with EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Minimum: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable using various forms of information and communication technology
• Preferred: Understands patient confidentiality laws (HIPAA) and medical information release procedures and laws
