Role Description

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Medical Receptionist & Patient Support Associate to assist during Chicago business hours. This is a remote position that involves supporting our front desk team by:

• Answering patient calls
• Providing information about our medical center
• Enrolling new patients
• Scheduling appointments
• Handling basic billing inquiries
• Making outbound calls for wellness visit reminders and similar tasks when call volume is low

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a medical receptionist or in healthcare admin (preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with medical scheduling and/or basic billing terms
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Tech-savvy and able to work comfortably with scheduling software and EMRs (Electronic Medical Records)
• Able to work independently and remain productive when call volume is low

Requirements

• Must be available to work morning through afternoon (Chicago time zone)
• Reliable internet connection and own computer or laptop
• Quiet, professional remote workspace
• Previous experience in a patient-facing or customer support role is an advantage
