[Hiring] MEDICAL FACILITY SURVEYOR @Healthcare Management Solutions LLC

Role Description

Registered Nurse Surveyors within Acute and Continuing Care Programs will complete surveys on facilities such as:

• Hospitals
• Ambulatory surgical centers
• Rural health clinics
• Critical access hospitals
• Home health and hospice

The Surveyor will:

• Conduct surveys in accordance with the State Operations Manual (SOM).
• Prepare a deficiency report in accordance with the Principles of Documentation (PoD) and the HMS Master Writing Guide.
• Communicate survey findings through the approved Quality Assurance process.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in the survey process and communicate said opportunities to the appropriate leadership staff.
• Be willing to accept survey assignments as needed and as directed by CMS and HMS.

Travel will be extensive, with all travel arrangements made to minimize out-of-pocket expenses.

Full-time, part-time, and casual (as needed, with a flexible schedule) employment opportunities are available, along with opportunities for advancement and/or cross-training.

Qualifications

• Experience completing CMS surveys is required.
• Required CMS training for provider types.
• Ability to critically think and be competent in decision-making skills.
• Ability to perform all facility-required tasks.
• 3 years relevant experience.
• Current RN License required.
