Role Description
Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Medical Economics Analytics Manager to join our team! The Medical Economics Analytics Manager is responsible for all daily operations of the Medical Economics Analytics Department. This position ensures processes are efficient and accurate for the preparation of financial reporting. This position is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.
On a typical day, you might:

Manage Trillium Health Resources Medical Economics MLR and IBNR reporting and ensure compliance with related regulations, standards, and policies.

Work with the Director of Medical Economics to model the financial impacts of policy changes and clinical decisions.

Develop and promote best practices and drive innovation through various types of data.

Oversee the development of Medical Economics reporting and participate in various organization-wide process improvement initiatives.

Provide direct supervision to analytics staff, including conducting performance evaluations, coordinating training, and implementing hiring, discipline and termination procedures.
Qualifications

Associate's degree in a business-related field and three (3) years of experience with budgets, extensive claims filing and data reporting, rate management, network support, or contract administration; OR

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and one (1) year of experience with budgets, extensive claims filing and data reporting, rate management, network support, or contract administration; OR

Equivalent combination of education/experience.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must reside within North Carolina.

Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
Requirements

Preferred: Master’s degree.

Seven (7) years’ experience in the healthcare industry and five (5) years’ experience with healthcare analytics, statistics, or data management and one (1) year of supervisory experience.

Supervisory experience of two (2) or more employees.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
