Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Copy Editor to join our Inizio Medical based in the Philippines. The Medical Copy Editor is responsible for reviewing and editing a wide range of materials in a timely manner while adhering to industry, company and client style guides. The Medical Copy Editor ensures that all work is in line with editorial policies and standards.

• Copy editing, proofreading, and formatting scientific content, including slide decks, manuscripts, and scientific communications, to congress, journal, and client specifications.
• Preparing documents for teams within budgeted timelines.
• Assisting teams with preparing journal and congress submissions as required.
• Collaborating with teams to achieve common goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical/scientific/regulatory/pharmacovigilance editing role, preferably in a medical communications agency, contract research organisation, medical journal or related industry.
• Ability to review, comprehend, and revise complex medical and scientific materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience of incorporating AI solutions into editorial workflows is desirable.
• Ability to effectively prioritize projects and manage workload.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong ability to work as part of an effective team.
• Flexibility to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
