[Hiring] Medical Claims Consultant @Enlyte

Role Description

This is a part-time role and hours will vary between a minimum of 8 hours per month up to 100 hours per month depending on the need of the team.

• Analyzes medical records and medical bills for relatedness and causality for clients.
• Reviews medical records to evaluate care and status of the claimant.
• Conducts medical journal research.
• Provides clients with medical evidence preparation and organization.
• Examines issues, omissions, and discrepancies in medical records.
• Prepares case summaries.

Qualifications

• You must be a registered nurse (RN) with a license in the state you reside.
• Mitchell’s Medical Claims Consultants are Registered Nurses and will typically have at least 3 years clinical experience and one year as a reviewer.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficiency in navigating between multiple software platforms simultaneously.
• Ability to efficiently extract and transfer information between different programs while maintaining accuracy.
• Adaptability to learn new software systems and workflows quickly.
• Demonstrated skill in organizing electronic information from disparate sources into cohesive work products.
• Comfort with cloud-based collaboration tools and shared document environments.
• Proficient grammar, sentence structure, and written communication skills required.

• Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market, with an expected base pay for this position ranging from $65,000 - $80,000 annually.
