[Hiring] Medical Business Associate/Call Center @Munson Healthcare

Role Description

As a Medical Business Associate (Call Center Rep), you are the first point of contact for patients & their families.

• Obtain/verify all required patient and insurance information and enter the information into the registration system in an accurate manner.
• Schedule patient appointments which may include return office visits, referrals, diagnostic testing/procedures.
• Greet patients professionally over the telephone and respond effectively to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year Customer Service experience required, usually achieved by previously working with the public with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems.
• Strong internal speed is highly preferred.

• High school graduate or GED; Associate Degree preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Medical Practice Business Associate or working in a similar healthcare role.
• Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems.

Requirements

• Munson Healthcare requires all employees to be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.
• MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
