Role Description
Our client is a Physical Therapy Billing Services company seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Medical Biller to join their growing team. This role involves a variety of billing responsibilities, including handling a high volume of PIP (Personal Injury Protection), workers’ compensation, and auto accident-related claims.
The selected candidate will work closely with the senior billing team and receive training and guidance from experienced billers in a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Scope of Responsibilities

Managing a high volume of PIP, workers’ compensation, and auto accident-related claims

End-to-End Medical Billing / RCM

Insurance Verification and Authorization

Claims Processing and Follow-Ups

Payment Posting and Payment Follow-Ups

Ensuring billing accuracy and following company procedures

Coordinating with healthcare providers and insurance companies

Supporting senior billers with daily billing operations

Email and Text Management
Qualifications
-
Experience with medical billing for a physical therapy practice is a plus
-
Experience handling PIP (Personal Injury Protection), workers’ compensation, and auto accident-related claims is highly preferred

Experience with Prompt EMR is a plus but not required
-
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and accurate in handling billing tasks

Ability to follow company procedures and billing workflows exactly as instructed

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Must be adaptable and able to learn detailed billing processes quickly

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced billing environment

Excellent English communication skills — professional, clear, and collaborative

Team-oriented with the ability to work closely with senior billers and team members

Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly

Must have relevant work experience

Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding [mandatory]
