Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our fully remote Virtualist Program. Our department is open Monday through Saturday 8am to 8pm. This role requires nights and Saturday shifts day/night.

BILH Primary Care is where you can truly make a difference. As the Medical Assistant, you are responsible for assisting in the delivery of high quality, safe clinical care, by being a member of a high performing clinical team.

• Enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency through a collaborative approach to patient care.
• Work with Healthcare Providers on their daily needs and schedules to assure timely patient care.
• Take patient vital signs and document medical history in our EMR system.
• Provide patients and families with medical information to achieve positive patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program OR
• Has obtained a Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA) OR
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Medical Assistant.

Requirements

• Achieves and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association, within 90 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to ensure patient’s needs are met.
• Basic computer skills.
• Utilizes critical thinking and good judgement in performance of tasks.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Benefits

• Pay Range: $21.00 - $28.26.
• Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
• Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
