Role Description

Responsible for supporting multiple Virtual Health services and assisting with administrative functions such as:

• Coordinating patient flow
• Scheduling appointments
• Handling phone and pool messages
• Completing patient intakes and prior authorizations
• Providing point of care testing to support two virtual health clinic locations

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must meet current eligibility to sit for the exam with attainment of certification or registration through one of the Penn State Health approved agencies for Medical Assistants within ninety (90) days of employment date or current active status as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain BLS Certification within six (6) months of employment date
• Associate's degree preferred
