Role Description

The Aetna Managed Medicaid Fellowship introduces two pharmacists to the health plan side of pharmacy benefits management with a focus on utilization management. This role is designed to cultivate future Aetna/CVS Health® leaders with exposure to projects across a variety of Medicaid Pharmacy shared services teams and individual health plans.

• Involvement in shared service functions for both clinical and operational administration of pharmacy benefit services.
• Focus on utilization management that delivers optimized medication utilization and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.

Requirements

• Pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of drug information resources.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Strong writing ability: knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Travel requirements may include training programs and professional meetings and conferences.
• Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to learn and accept feedback.
• Proven track record of high performance.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $45,250.00 - $64,750.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
