Role Description
Qualified Behavioral Health Providers are trained professionals who work under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist to help individuals, families, and couples address and overcome various mental health challenges. They provide a range of therapeutic services such as:

Counseling

Psychotherapy

Behavior modification techniques
As a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider, your primary responsibilities include:

Assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients/patients based on their individual needs.

Conducting thorough assessments to understand presenting concerns.
-
Gathering relevant background information and formulating treatment plans.
-
Utilizing evidence-based interventions to help clients develop coping strategies and improve their relationships.
Qualifications
-
Masterβs degree in counseling, social work, or marital/family therapy.
Requirements
-
Provide individual, group, family, and/or other practical therapist services under supervision.

Complete intake/screening and/or comprehensive assessment processes within designated time frames.

Determine and document diagnosis based on comprehensive assessment.
-
Develop treatment plans in accordance with state regulatory/accreditation/agency standards.
-
Participate in clinical staffing/treatment meetings.
-
Meet department-specific Collaborative Service Goal (CSG) requirements.
-
Document all services provided in accordance with state standards.
-
Assist clients through the transition process and complete final correspondence.
-
Complete all mandatory training and represent the agency professionally.
-
Handle crisis situations and coordinate emergency services.
-
Facilitate group counseling, group education, family therapy, and individual sessions.
-
Provide training and guidance on clinical issues and evidence-based practices.

Demonstrate interest in long-term and short-term goals of the company.

Other duties as assigned by leadership.
