Role Description

The Mail Operations Pharmacist 2 (VSP/PT) is a registered Pharmacist responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients. The role involves:

• Varied work assignments requiring interpretation and independent determination of appropriate courses of action.
• Ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards and accurate tracking techniques.
• Reviewing processes prior to shipping medications to patients.
• Understanding department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives.
• Making decisions regarding own work methods with minimal direction.
• Following established guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Licensed as a PHARMACIST in state(s) of practice.
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
• Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group.
• Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving.
• Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with computers.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Requirements

• 3 or more years experience in a high volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
