Role Description
The Licensed Therapist will be responsible for working closely and effectively with a multidisciplinary care team (including nutrition, medical, psychiatry, and mentorship) and utilize evidence-based care modalities (such as FBT and CBT-E). The Licensed Therapist will be responsible for evidence-based treatment delivery, quality documentation, and ongoing assessment of patientsโ and familiesโ needs.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday, between 8am-8pm in Therapistโs respective patient care time zone.

Ability to provide 30 hours a week of availability for direct patient care.

Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm.

Ability to work until 8pm two evenings per week.

Ability to attend mandatory meetings.
Qualifications
-
Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in the state of Iowa.

Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds and cultures, and with varying degrees of acuity.

Passion for evidence-based care and treatment.

Ability to provide care 2 evenings per week.

Enthusiastic, strong team player.

Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting.

Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment.
Requirements
-
Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic setting.

Implement family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID, and other evidence-based treatments.

Maintain a caseload of 30-40; with the expectation being 20-26 hours of direct care.

Participate in initial and ongoing trainings.

Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Utilize between-session messaging to support patients.
-
Engage and collaborate in Treatment Team meetings.

Maintain licensure in home state and obtain licensure in other states as requested by Equip.

Perform other duties as assigned.
