Role Description
Oscar Medical Group runs a Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program that outreaches and virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members in an evaluation and management visit. The lead nurse practitioner or physician assistant will oversee care delivered to our patients. You'll be responsible for delivering care as part of a multidisciplinary team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Medical Assistants, delivering world-class care using a unique and innovative care model. With this team, you will manage a panel of patients primarily virtually while coordinating in-person care when required. Additionally, you may be responsible for supervising a team of APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care to patients to their patient panels if needed. You will report to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

While your daily work will be completed from your home office, occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.
Pay Transparency

The base pay for this role is: $135,000- $176,000 per year.

Responsibilities
-
Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video, phone, messaging) while working with a multidisciplinary team.

Provide supervision to a group of APPs (NPs and PAs) who are delivering care in a virtual environment and provide professional & clinical growth.

Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed (APPs, RNs, MAs).

Support development of clinical guidelines, continuous improvement of care model, and participate in collaborative projects with Operations and Product team members as a clinical leader.

Be accountable for the quality of care of your patients.

Requirements

Must have full practice licensure in good standing in Florida plus at least three of the following states: Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; District of Columbia; Georgia; Illinois; Massachusetts; Michigan; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Texas, or Virginia.

DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program.

Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC).

5+ years of primary/urgent care experience.

1+ year Experience delivering care in a community-based / in person setting.
Bonus Points

Spanish language fluency.

Prior telehealth experience.

1+ years experience in supervising teams, including other clinical staff NP and PA supervision.

Experience being metric driven in a practice setting as it relates to population health management and/or quality benchmarks, and productivity.
