Role Description

Morlen Health invites applications for Board Certified or Eligible Physician to join our growing medical group in the Hospice and Palliative Medicine department. Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) Board Eligibility is required. Completion of an HPM fellowship is strongly preferred. Candidates should have excellent communication, collaboration, and primary care medical skills.

You will join an integrated and compassionate team of physicians and supportive clinical and administrative staff, and will have the ability to provide high-quality, comprehensive care.

This role is a part-time (.50 FTE), 100% virtual role. All shifts will be PST and primarily days with one weekend day per month (24-hour shift) and 2 nights per month. If you live in the Portland metro area, in-person patient care can be supported if interested. There will be a 1-week, in-person orientation and training as part of the onboarding process.

For this role, you will need an active license in your home state, OR and WA as well as DEA’s at the time of credentialing.

There is a strong emphasis on a team-first, collaborative approach. You will need to be flexible to support a robust Palliative Medicine program across our full range of patient needs.

As a Hospice Palliative Care physician, you will join an 18-physician/provider team in Portland, Oregon. As a member of this group, you will practice end-of-life care in a supportive, collegial environment, as an essential member of our hospice palliative care team.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine or a Medicine sub-specialty

• Salary range: $113,750 - $129,150 (0.5 FTE)
