[Hiring] Healthcare Tech Senior Associate - Professional Billing @Huron

Role Description

As an Healthcare Technical Consulting Senior Associate you will:

• Partner with a team of healthcare, technical and project management consultants to ensure the seamless integration, data migration and system performance of Epic systems.
• Leverage technical expertise in Epic modules providing support to optimize the systems functionality in workflow and technology to improve hospital operations and financial outcomes.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on Epic applications offering suggestions and participating in discussions on operational and technology improvements.
• Identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancement to improve efficiency and user satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Epic Professional Billing Administration (PB Admin) Certification is required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of Epic Professional Billing experience in implementation, optimization, support, or consulting environments.
• Strong understanding of professional billing workflows, charge capture, claim generation, and revenue cycle processes.
• Experience facilitating client meetings, workflow analysis, and requirements gathering.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required based on client needs.

Requirements

• Candidates who possess Epic PB Admin Certification paired with one of the following certifications are strongly preferred: Expected Reimbursement Certification, Hospital Billing (HB) Certification, Professional Billing Claims Certification.
• Epic consulting experience within a healthcare IT consulting firm.
• Experience with revenue cycle transformation and optimization initiatives.
• Knowledge of payer reimbursement methodologies and reimbursement modeling.
• Experience supporting multi-hospital or large integrated delivery networks.
• Familiarity with Epic upgrades, enhancements, and workflow redesign projects.
• Strong understanding of integrated Revenue Cycle workflows across PB, HB, and Claims.
