[Hiring] Healthcare Consulting Manager - Inpatient Medical Coding @Huron

Role Description

As the Healthcare Consulting Associate - Inpatient Medical Coding, you will:

• Manage complex multi-workstream projects and oversee junior team members
• Analyze data to implement performance improvement and organizational change
• Collaborate with team members and clients to align with business objectives
• Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders
• Lead and develop team members through training, supervision, and feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree and RHIT (or RHIA) and CCS certifications required
• Minimum of 5 years of inpatient coding experience across all specialties in an acute care hospital
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing major projects for large, complex healthcare organizations with multiple stakeholders
• Proficient in ICD-10-CM/PCS and both MS-DRG and APR-DRG assignment
• Maintains 95%+ DRG assignment accuracy
• Experienced with Epic and Cerner EHR systems
• Skilled in coding quality audits and inpatient coding education
• Strong leadership and management skills aligning to Huron’s core values and competencies
• The ability to travel based on client, enterprise, or project needs is an essential function of this role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• US Work Authorization required

Requirements

• Experience in a matrixed organization or cross-functional team environment (preferred)
• CCDS/CDIP certification (preferred)
