Role Description
As Head of Clinical Operations, you will own the full clinical delivery infrastructure at Carda Health. You will build and lead the teams, systems, and processes that power our virtual cardiac and pulmonary rehab programs at scale. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key member of our leadership team β shaping clinical strategy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring every patient who comes through our platform receives outstanding care.

Own end-to-end clinical operations across all Carda programs β from patient onboarding and care team workflows to outcomes tracking and quality assurance.

Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing remote clinical team including exercise physiologists, nurses, and care coordinators.

Develop and enforce clinical SOPs, compliance frameworks, and accreditation standards that scale with the business.

Partner closely with Growth and Partnerships to support the successful launch and expansion of programs within hospital and health system accounts.

Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate clinical needs into technology requirements and continuously improve the patient and clinician experience.

Define, track, and report on clinical KPIs β including patient outcomes, adherence, satisfaction, and safety β and drive improvement across all metrics.

Serve as a key external-facing clinical voice with partner health systems, payers, and regulators.
Qualifications

7+ years of experience in clinical or healthcare operations.

Demonstrated success building and scaling clinical programs, ideally in a digital health or virtual care environment.

Proven ability to hire, develop, and lead high-performing clinical teams in a remote environment.

Strong strategic thinking paired with a bias toward execution β you set the vision and make sure it actually happens.

Data-driven mindset with experience owning clinical quality metrics and outcomes reporting.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; able to lead through influence with clinicians, operators, executives, and partners alike.
Requirements

Clinical background in cardiology, pulmonology, or cardiac/pulmonary rehab (nice to have).

Experience working directly with hospital systems or health plan partners (nice to have).

Familiarity with value-based care models and CMS reimbursement frameworks (nice to have).

Prior experience at an early-stage or high-growth health tech company (nice to have).
